I literally wrote the book on chasing your crazy ideas.
How to Host a Viking Funeral is the story of one of my craziest ideas yet:
building and burning a thirty foot Viking ship.
It’s a book about burning your regrets, chasing your crazy ideas,
and becoming the person you’re meant to be.
In May of 2016, I turned 30 years old.
But instead of a birthday party,
I decided to hold a funeral for my 20s.
Not just any funeral, though… a Viking funeral.
What started as a crazy idea for a birthday party led to so much more:
a two and a half year journey, a 30-foot ship, the collected regrets of 21,000 strangers,
and a lesson about becoming the person you’re meant to be.
