Sometimes in life, your wife comes home and says “Hey, I volunteered you to build a big cardboard thing for the VBS program at church this summer.”
And if you’re a smart man, you say “Sounds great! I can’t wait.”
This project was a ton of fun, because they really didn’t give me any sort of parameters or constraints (probably because I was doing it for free. Haha!). The theme of the VBS program was “Under the Sea”, so I built a big fish submarine. Kids could open the door and go inside, they could move the tail around… they loved it. They also basically destroyed it, because that’s what kids do with cardboard. Ha!
